Handmade with love by April Moore
Every and every piece is handmade by me with the occasional help of my husband.
We are a small business based in North Atlanta, GA.
I love connecting with my customers on a personal level and creating meaningful pieces for all occasions.
I want my jewelry to empower woman to make them feel beautiful and confident in their own skin. ♥
I'm inspired by exotic destinations, exquisite colors, textures, nature, life and everything in between.
I like creating simple, delicate meaningful pieces that can be worn everyday and dainty edgy pieces that can be worn into the night.
The Story of how it all began...
I met my husband in high school when I was 16 years old while my dad was stationed (by the Navy) in Honolulu, Hawaii.
5 years later, we got married and he also decided to join the Military following his dad's and grandfather's footsteps.
Being a Military wife I wanted to find a way to have a creative outlet to keep myself busy while my husband was away at sea.
I also wanted to be able to work from home if we ever needed to pick up and move based on my husbands orders.
I've always been very crafty as a child but finding something I was completely passionate about wasn't easy.
My first attempt at a business venture was making scarves, clutches and wallets because my mom
taught me how to do basic sewing as a teen. While I was fairly good at sewing I quickly learned that it just wasn't my passion.
I took a pottery class in high school and I remembered how much I loved it so I decided to start playing around with clay.
My triangle dipped studs were one of the first pieces of jewelry I made and til this day they are still my best selling earrings.
I knew then that creating jewelry was my newly found passion.
I truly believe that if you have a vision or goal of any kind you just have to go for it.
Try it out at least once and if it doesn't work out then try something different until you find something you're passionate about!
I couldn't have created Amoorella without the love and support from my husband.
He has allowed me to pursue this dream of mine full time from the very beginning.
