What is Grow?
Grow with Kieron Gough is a ground-breaking approach to helping people become healthier and happier in all aspects of their life.
Can Grow help me lose weight?
We want to help people lose weight and keep it off for life. With no gimmicks or complicated counting systems, our approach is helping you understand your behaviours and helping you change them.
What is Grow Healthy?
Grow Healthy is our ground-breaking, simple, easy and successful healthy eating plan. With nothing (and we actually mean it), off-limits you will be able to make small adjustments to your day to day life and habits whilst still losing weight.
Do I have to exercise?
Yes! If you want to lose weight and keep it off, you will need to move more. Grow Active is our simple approach to help every single "Grower" lose weight and develop the right healthier activity habits regardless of your ability or disability.
If you have lost weight previously and didn't become active, you've probably regained your weight which is why you are reading this.
How does a Grow Workshop run?
A Grow Workshop is all about you, and it's as simple as that.
We believe in small groups of people working towards a common goal. Our groups are not about profit or greed.
Kieron has eight years experience in running some of the biggest and most successful weight loss groups in South Wales achieving many awards others haven't, and he says
"Every person matters. Every person should have their voice heard. Sadly, some companies are about filling the rooms with as many people as possible and not capping off the groups.
That's why once a group reaches fifty people, we cap its membership."
Will you be "happy clappy"?
Applauding people when they have achieved huge milestones is natural; it just happens.
However, applauding someone because they didn't eat dessert at a restaurant is bonkers. It starts to become patronising.
Each "grower" is working towards healthier behaviour habits and would be encouraged not to repeat old habits in the first place.
Will you go around every person in the room?
Each Grow Workshop will be theme led by Kieron. We are focussing on different parts of losing weight each week. There will be a reach weave of learning, understand and laughter every week.
Some "growers" are happy to get involved whilst other "growers" are happy to sit back and absorb all the learning. It's up to you how involved you want to be. Either is fine for us.
What's the diet?
We believe that we have found a flexible and friendly eating plan, unlike any other. To lose weight, you need to eat more of the right foods and less of the high-calorie foods (calorie reduction) and start to move more (expending calories).
Our system empowers you to enjoy more of the lower calorie-dense foods whilst having smaller amounts of the high dense foods.
Some foods don't even need measuring or even counting. If they do, we count them without gimmicks in a logical way.
On some diet plans in the UK, there is a mismatch in information.
Here's an example, we use stars not to infringe on other weight loss companies trademarks.
So if we consider
Muller Light 99KCAL = 0.5 Stars
KitKat 104 KCAL = 5.5 Stars
Diet Brand Chicken Tikka 360KCAL = Free to enjoy
Aldi Diet Chicken Tikka 371KCAL = 12 Stars
All weight loss is about calories and not about ridiculous counting systems that make no logical sense.
You could argue that "satiety and satiation" play a part here, however, are you still overweight following these systems?

Will you be running a group?
Yes, we will. We call them "Grow Workshops".
Once we have clearance from the Welsh Government, we will launch our Grow Workshops.
In the meantime, we are running an excellent Express and Virtual service.
